Considering that this is a problem that the Texas State Government caused through a mix of gross negligence and kow towing to corporate greed, that's just rubbing salt in the wound. Also a power grid failure is exactly the kind of real world problem that highlights the utter ridiculousness of the pull yourself up by your boot straps mentality as there is fuck all the average person can do to restore powern

Plus those in power who claim people need to learn to live without handouts, I wonder how many of them only have a political career because some rich tool thought they could be useful, so gave them a over generous donation.
