Well, he was very sarcastic when Meta vs. Carolina was coming out. That they weren't the fans he wanted or something similar. I do recall that. And I heard elsewhere they were thinking about shutting it down for a while. But when that happened, it was the perfect excuse. He also has a tendency to weasel out of the really hard questions that paint his alter ego as anything less than infallible. Even during his recent blog on Goku vs. Superman. There were a few questions I'd have loved to asked him.

And yes, Shazam should stomp, but because this is Death Battle, my money's on Carol. I mean, tinfoil hat time, but in the majority of male vs. female fights, the females have won, and in the few instances they've lost, there were usually extenuating circumstances (like in one case where the opponent's gender wasn't known at the time).

The next Death Battle is... Ben 10 vs. Hal Jordan, for those who don't know. Seriously, how did they think this was a great idea? It's a total stomp.

To me Death Battle is something not to take seriously at all so I don't get salty if character that I like loses. Of course some times they do play favorites like case with that Tifa vs. Yang one because Rooster Teeth owns RWBY so they could had never allowed Tifa to win but most of time they have had good reasons why that character won that fight. That said it's fun to read comments of those people (for example Batman fanboys when he loses) that do take it seriously.

My big problem is when they try and present themselves as an official source. They hardly "solve" debates with "soul-crushing" research.

I can really hope the cast can challenge their rule-sets by getting character that have less-canon powers and attributes, like an media-known OC that came out recently or on of the SCP's at SCP wiki (I doubt 096 can kill a near-immortal).

Nah, that's not gonna happen. The closet we'll ever get is Cthulhu, since he's part of the original Lovecraft mythos, as well as appeared in Deus Machina Demonbane. Plus other anime and cartoons, so there is that basis.

Next one is going to be really predictable. More predictable than most super powered DC character (those are really OP) vs. some other character fights. It's Weiss from RWBY that's owned by Rooster Teeth against character from fighting game. Rooster teeth will so they bias towards they own characters so that is what makes it so predictable. By the way, both characters are also in video game Blazblue Cross Tag Battle.

DC's overpowered, sure, but they haven't put in most of their overpowered characters, only a handful, like Darkseid. There are others still higher than him. Like the Monitors, I believe? And The Presence. Lucifer Morningstar...

Yeah, just like Yang vs. Tifa. We all know the outcome here. Nepotism rules the day!

Did you know Ben said he's open to remastering Goku vs. Superman? After they "explicitly" said that they would never do a third battle? Talk about honesty, eh?

To be fair it doesn't matter to me if they do remaster it because at end of day they already continued that with same end result. What would they do third time? Have Goku win this time just to make DBZ fans happy or at least hope that it does? They should just let go of that match up and keep moving on because no matter what they do they always end up angering some fanboys and fangirls.
