That was a brilliant plot twist.
Re: Spider-Man - Fairwell Spiderman
In my head, I always thought that the Iron Spider's universe wasn't just one where everything magically worked out, but rather a universe where one very specific thing went right; on that fateful night all those years ago, when Peter Parker forgot the lesson his uncle taught him and failed to do the right thing when he had the power, in this one universe he made the opposite call, and stopped that burglar before he could go on to kill Uncle Ben. And in that world he still did good, still became a hero to the people, but without the crushing guilt of that one mistake, he also never learned the humility or had to endure the struggles that taught our Peter empathy and how to out think his foes.
Which is to say, while I watched probably every episode of this series here and there and could probably reconstruct the rough outlines of most of the plots, this episode is the one that's always, always stuck in my mind, and that's why.

There is an early What if? Spider Man comic called "What if Spider Man had never stopped being an entertainer?" In this comic Spidey stops the burglar who killed Uncle Ben and never become a superhero but instead a spoiled arrogant celebrity.

I wouldn't be surprised if the writers had that issue in mind when they were writing Spidey Warbucks.

I think what the writers had in mind was, "We only have a couple episodes left to help push all of these action figures."
I mean, selling surplus action figures was why Hobgoblin was such a big part of the series.

At least it's less frustrating than the note Spectacular Spider-Man ended on. I'm still upset surrounding the circumstances (the Sony film rights...etc) that led to Spectacular not getting a third season especially considering how the crew planned to have the characters graduate high school and actually age.ChrisTheLovableJerk wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 6:07 pm It's a good ending for the show to go out on, but yeah, I wish we had gotten a bit more episodes and more closure.

Should we worry and prep the bunkers for the event Marvel goes high-price streaming like Disney+?
I do want to see the old 80 and 90s shows but if Marvel betrays us with poor-port streaming services like early Disney+, sigh, We. Are Going. To have. A Bad Time.

Fall and wail, all flesh, bone, soul,& power is a servant to Yun-man, the First Slave-Lord.
