Boris Johnson is younger and healthier than 45. Much healthier, unless he's eating burgers in bed constantly. Subsisting off fast food, he clearly has an adderall addiction, we all know that. There have been various signs he has dementia. Hermain Cain had the virus, he was the same age as 45, 74 years.

I agree with not celebrating too soon, he could pull through, but the adverse effects of post-infection will hurt him severely. He won't be nearly as capable anymore. He could just as well die from the complications of surviving. He's not well and that ups his risk factor. The ultimate point is, he's at greater risk than most people.

Could he pull through? Yes, it's likely. So I'm not celebrating.

But I no longer care if he gets better. I've watched children being stuffed in cages. People suffering a hurricane being left out to dry. Risks of third world war with Iran. Constant lies, cheating, rigging the system, stealing and looting Washington. Racism running rampant as it is emboldened by the White House. I have no sympathy left for him. It's gone. This is the consequence for his actions. Reap what you have sown I say.

Call me cold, but I've stopped giving a shit about him.

Re: A fake out

Eh, I don't think so.

Trump is pathologically incapable of admitting to anything that would make him look weak. If he wanted to skip out on the debate, he'd claim that he already had achieved everything he wanted in the first one and that Biden was cheating via ear piece.

He's downplayed covid too much to ever admit vulnerability. Remember he paid his doctor to tell him he was an Olympian and that the "totally not microstrokes" was just a check up.

An entirely sad viewpoint, I could agree, yet I won't hold to it personally.

And yet, for all his crooked administration, never forget he is still the symptom, not the cause, to the systematic breakdown. That's been coming for years.

Ah, the tolerant left. Those superheroes who claim daily that they stand for the depressed, the downtrodden, the diverse and the disenfranchised now masturbating over the prospect of a man's death.

Its almost as if you see yourself as Superman and yet would actually do well on an episode of The Boys.

Well, let's not get crazy here. Mr. 45 is a craven, egocentric, horrible human being. I get the intent, but at the same time...

I do agree on the left vs. right hypocrisy most don't seem aware of, though. I mean, they're storming cities in protests? Have you seen some of these? Even the so-called peaceful ones? No masks among some of them. It's like they WANT to spread plague. Talk about selfish! By the same token, Mr. 45 has absolutely screwed the pooch here. If we can pin 9/11 on Mr. Dubya for poor management, then the same logic applies here. It's only fair. He effed up. That should be past doubt.

Or maybe he just thinks Johnson is an asshole.

I've watched his party lick his boots for four years now. I've seen them turn from not wanting him to praising him and doing everything in their power to shield his ass from consequences. All the while the democrats of the old guard refuse to do what's right and play dirty pool. He's a symptom, I'm not blind to that, but that just means fixing is required. It starts with the GOP being dismantled and replaced with something that is not full of McConnells, Grahams and Gaetzs. They're all rats, sink the ship with them on it. Then we can start on the democrats by getting real voices for change in there, but at least they won't regress us back to THIS goddamn point. We can start actually making repairs.

Ok, you can, I'm Canadian, but what affects you eventually effects us.

But that's up to you all of course. I'm not American, I can't do shit about what's going on down there. Except hope sanity returns.

You know what? Even if he lives through it, I'll take this. It's as poetic as justice can be. Covid19 is something that's not fun even if you do survive it. At the very least, tonight I will drink a champagne mini to celebrate his suffering pain and misery from the very wildfire he fanned.

I would think that somebody from the country that made "Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead" trend through sheer force of requests when Thatcher died might understand this.

You know why Wile Coyote getting blown up is funny? Because he's the one who hits the dynamite he set up with a hammer because it won't explode.

The man who spent months trying to convince people that masks are bullshit, that the virus was a hoax created by the deep state to frustrate him, all while trading insider tips and suppressing public health information to stop the stock market from wobbling, is now sick with the disease that he did so much to spread it might as well be a major campaign donor.

I never claimed to be part of the Tolerant Left. I'm part of the frustrated, downtrodden, and miserable left that has suffered at the hands of egotistical blowhards who would sell me and everyone I personally know to an organ-harvesting plant for one diet coke.

So maybe there are some people who can make me feel bad for this, but you? You're not one of them. Keep wagging your bony finger and lamenting the foul and uncouth ways of the horrible leftist rabble. I, meanwhile, shall lift a glass and take heart that, for once in his horrible, horrible little life, this quintessentially evil man's actions have had a negative consequence for him that he can't buy or bully or cheat his way out of.

It says everything that Republicans are more upset about liberals not being polite about Trump getting COVID than they did about 200,000 people *dying* from COVID.
