Certainly no internet when I was a child but plenty of computer games (see my username and avatar), although I'm at the late end of X. I get the impression I'm of a similar age to Chuck and looking around at the reviews I doubt he stopped playing games either.
I have a distinctively older brother who is squarely in GenX territory. He gave me his sega master system and genesis for Christmas when he was 16.

I actually think there is a fairly easy way to distinguish between Millenials and Gen Z, if you can't remember 9/11 you're Gen Z.
I think that is general concensus on where the cutoff for Millenials is judged. I think the cutoff is 1996.

I was a senior in high school at the time. When it happened, I was in the middle of running laps on the tack field for gym. I didn't find out until English class.
