Damn. The sad thing is that there is no way his insurance is going to cover that.TGLS wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 1:51 pmHere's the picture on twitter from May-22:clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 1:07 pmI seriously want to know what Mr Bean like figure put his house together. Why not? This seems like exactly something they would cover. Not that they would want to. They will fight it. Insurance companies don't like giving money back.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 3:15 pmDamn. I more meant for the full amount. Insurance companies are bitches. They will fight the claim and then fight exactly how much they'll give you. Chuck will still have to cover half of it I reckon.McAvoy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 4:50 amWhy not? This seems like exactly something they would cover. Not that they would want to. They will fight it. No doubt. There is for example absolutely no reason to have deductibles for any insurance. But there is. Insurance companies don't like giving back money.

Ouch, if I had more power tools I would build a external shaft with powdered-concrete to depressure the weight, next add wroght-bricks to support the shaft as the chimneys height is focused on leaning out of the house than in, then have heavy-jacks lower the chimney to the near-floor but NOT floor-contact, that's 2 grand of heavy jacks you have to replace! Replace the splintered wood and dry-floor, then slowly use the jacks and small crane/scooper to lift the chimney to the height needed, add more external shafting(fuck you if you laugh) and more concrete-shaft, settle the chimney on the shaft, rest a fuck-ton after that nonsense, then lift the chimney up again to add new beams and cooper-carbon/steel-concrete sheets to create a bottom-shaft of the chimney with two 320lb heat-cubes to reduce chimney heat. When bottom shaft complete and hardened with grout mixture, lower chimney onto new beams and bottom shaft, then add thin, durable rectangular beams to the chimneys base and weld.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 7:25 amI more meant for the full amount. No more chimney falling out and you save 42k on expert city construction! But seriously ouch, that will cancel videos for a full month's time.
Construction summer camp, unnecessary but flipping effective when I need to barricade my house towards looters and zombies! Still worth my pops 4 grand to send me there?
