From my understanding, it is getting around the vaccine. But it's not exactly a floodgate, and it was never really out of the realm of possibility in the first place. It's like on the margin of error for how fool proof the vaccine was, it is slightly stretching the lower end.

Skateboarding now an Olympic sport. Not a bad idea. Coming from someone who did skateboard in his youth, it really takes alot skill to make the eye popping tricks.
I was deeply disappointed by the skateboarding tbh. What I expected going in was Tony Hawk circa 2000 on one of those big ramps. Instead what we got was a couple of kids grinding down a pole like they do every Saturday outside my local supermarket.
Admittedly if I missed the bit where they were on the big ramp then my bad. But Tony Hawk back in the day would have destroyed any of them from what i saw.
They were trying to make it uniform and have everybody do the same maneuvers so they can judge it more fairly. They need to treat it more like figure skating where there are some required moves included but each competitor has a unique routine.

Yeah. Since it's new perhaps they had to level it for everyone.

Or at least I hope they did. Because when I was once a kid so long ago, I could do most if not all of the tricks I saw. Now I just look at a skateboard and I already broke my ankle.
I got nothing to say here.

I'm glad Egypt improved from its last appearance, it had a rocky start this year but managed to add some medals included among the first Olympic gold for Karate Kumite.

Though I was hoping the handball team would have won a medal (so close, yet so far)
