Police: please don’t sell milkshakes to anti-fascists

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. You fail to realize one simple thing. A lot of people did not vote for Trump because they like what he does or who he is and what he represents. They voted for him to stick the finger up the system's arse, because he is an absolute poster-child for all the flaws of a society and political system that consistently fails to wash out the dregs, but washes it to the tops of society instead.

Now you may argue that those voters are just as responsible for the failings of the system, as the system itself, given that in a democracy there's only one who is ultimately responsible for what happens: The voter. But, attacking Trump and his behaviour only solidifies their seemingly paradoxical stance. Him being an absolute brain-dead and completely incompetent arsehole is the point why he is where he is and people vote for him, because they think they are powerless, given the system doesn't seem to give them a choice. I suggest trying to insert the wedge at this breaking point of reality.

Or, because the media really failed to inform people on what he was like. They were too concerned with "emails, emails, emails!" To the point a hardcore lefty like Fuzzy thinks Clinton was as corrupt as the MSM painted her as.

So what you're trying to say is that 60 million people didn't only vote for him out of seeded racism against hispanics and people escaping war torn territories?

It's a combination of both. Things are rarely monocausal.

That was the turnout.

Hillary 63 million, Trump 60.

Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 1:58 am Okay then, let me say this.

It isn't just sketchy. It is openly corrupt.

I struggle to think of a WEEK this administration has gone without some scandal, and it seems like every other damn scandal he gets into, he has to brag about it. He uses his office for book promotions! Just about every appointment he made to a position of power was a textbook example of conflict of interest! Oil lobbyist for EPA! Charter school magnate for department of education!

I don't understand why you keep bending over backwards to make excuses for this man-sized tumor.
What profit has he made by the use of his office? Lots of presidents have been seen carrying a book and displaying it prominently.

Carrying a book is one thing. Outright telling people to go out and buy it is another.

Why do you do these gymnastics to defend a man you know is the personification of an ingrown toenail?
