Because only three people were injured. Man, that makes me feel sick just writing it. Says something that three people getting shot at a corporate headquarters isn't meaningful news.

And there it is. I didn't even identify the YouTube shooter and already you claim "grown ass man". But at least you didn't call that shooter "white" but you were quick to call the Parkland shooter a "white boy"

I'm willing to admit I was wrong. I think I got this shooting confused with a shooting or death threats that happened at a news station. Maybe this time there were only three injuries instead of seventeen deaths Because the state had restrictive gun laws.

The point is the narrative focus. It didn't matter to me whether or not the shooter was a "white boy". You made it a point to bring it up.

And there you go with the numbers game. You were ok with some amount of violence as long as it isn't higher when violent crime with handguns is ridiculously higher and happen ever single day. This basically proved my point that if it isn't an "assault weapon" used but a lowly handgun, it doesn't make the news regardless if there was death or not. Chicago has almost the same amount of restriction in guns as California and all violent crimes committed with guns are handguns and illegal ones at that but no one cares, especially main stream media because they killers aren't "white boys" and the victims aren't white kids

It's also narrative control. As I've pointed out before, people for gun control zero in on certain situations and ignore other situations that are more common. Because it doesn't fit with their agenda.

Case in point. Being how charged we discuss things here, no one's made a thread about the Youtube shooter that happened a couple days ago. This didn't happen at some no name building in California. It happened at the headquarters of YouTube and no one wants to talk about it. I wonder why...

Well, part of that is that the only person she managed to kill was herself. There is a dark humor aspect to it, though, in that I now have someone else to point to when some SJW-type tries to claim mass shootings are a white male problem.

Just not much to talk about otherwise, which is why I didn't bother starting a thread.

I'm not okay with it, but I'm glad it wasn't a fucking slaughter. I'm glad that the people involved can still go home to their families after they finish the hospital.
