I said the nature of it. You're ironic quoting of objectification isn't very promising of your understanding of it in general.Admiral X wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 5:25 amYeah it does. No.Admiral X wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 5:25 amBy toxic do you just mean people not liking the movies?BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 1:37 am Star Wars has a way more toxic fanbase than Trek though. Trek fanbase gets plenty of distraction in the way of actual science speculation.

I understand it and the double standard of the people who complain about it perfectly well.

The trailers for Beyond were not an accurate representation of the film.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 4:28 amWell you should be skeptical about what trailers "claim," so to speak. Buzz for the movie was good as far as I can tell.

The issue of Kraal was somewhat of a B mission. To be honest I was expecting a survival'esque story, but I don't really feel misled.Durandal_1707 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 5:49 amThe trailers for Beyond were not an accurate representation of the film.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 4:28 amWell you should be skeptical about what trailers "claim," so to speak. Re: Star Trek: Into Darkness
By toxic, he means hardcore racist and sexist right-wingers doing shit like editing Wookieepedia pages to paint poor Kelly Marie Tran as a dumb, drooling jungle retard with autism. Seriously, THEY DID THAT. We should all be ashamed. If their intent is to protest the corporatizing of Star Wars, or to bring back Legends, that's one thing. But that's crossing the line. It also doesn't help this isn't the first time, like when they made poor Jake Lloyd's life a living hell. Look what Mark Hamill had to say on the subject, and this is actually a guy who has issues with Last Jedi.

Actually I meant having associated ties with the Toxic Crusaders, but that's true too.

Why should anyone be ashamed for what other assholes have done?
