I honestly don't care enough to bother reading the entire post, but this one stuck out for being near the top and being easy to assess (i.e. lasers not feelings). Here's a press release the study the tweet was talking about (it links the study):Captain Crimson wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 7:25 pmOr... again, could it have to do with the fact whites are a majority? Plus, this isn't the fifties anymore. But given the quality of workers Ms. Kennedy has hired, whether on orders from above by Disney or not, really speaks volumes to their agenda, even whether this woman is not personally involved in it.
This is a huge issue with LF. They fail to see the forest for the trees in terms of population numbers.

The study looks at the 1,100 highest grossing films of from 2007 to 2017. Whether or not it's fair to look only at the top grossing films may be a fair argument, but given that I can't even think of a hundred released in the last 10, I'll just assume it's fair and move on.
According to the study, female directors have been between 2% to 8% yearly over the study period, and 4% overall. Director hiring were random over the population, the figure would be closer to about 50%. It also notes the number of female directors across other platforms (i.e. independent films, television), where women have a proportion of over 10% of the field, which would seem to indicate that the cause isn't related to the number of women interested in the field.
With regard to the race makeup and your argument is closer to the mark. Asians form approximately 3.2% of the directors counted in the study and ~4.9% of the population, which is only a ~35% difference and probably explainable by other factors. On the other hand, African Americans only accounted for 5.2% of the directors counted in the study and ~13% of the population, which is an 150% difference and maybe not explainable by other factors. Note I'm not counting multi-racial people as part of either group and ignoring the other groups.
