I'm mostly joking, but as someone who has ADHD it's probably the best depiction of the viewpoint of someone who has it and doesn't know how to manage it I've seen (minus the fantastic elements obviously). I really can see it being an "oh shit that's me" moment for somebody.

Also the Daniels confirmed it was intentional.
