On that note anyone ever watched that Sir David Attenborough narrated doc where they treated dragons as if they were a real species. Was fantastic from what I remember of it.

So back to Katara, one of the main problems is they wanted to 'fix' Sokka and Aang. By making Sokka now the real hero of the show (my opinion) and Aang less a goofball and more a serious hard working kid who will do the adventure no hesitation (not an opinion), Katara has now been left... useless. She doesn't even TEACH AANG WATERBENDING, LIKE... THE WHOLE REASON SHE CAME TO THE JOURNEY!
Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.
