I'm not crossdressing.

Oops. Sorry. I got the wrong idea. I apologize.

Wow, how did this thread come to... this? It's not just me. We ALL get massively off topic...

Then why do you regularly wear a dress? And you say it isn't crossdressing? There is only one alternative I can think of and hey, its the 21st century. Nothing wrong with that.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:16 pmI am one.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:13 pmY'know, all this time I thought you were a guy.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 9:14 pmI tend to disagree. Pants are better for certain tasks, no question, but otherwise skirts are perfectly serviceable. I suggest wearing (a long) one at some point, especially in summer. I do that regularly, except when being at work or when venturing out into the wilds with my drone and my bike.

Well, I didn't mean to get the wrong idea. I didn't want to offend anyone.

True. Probably the same with Star Wars. Everyone knows it. It's all been said and done.

I didn't write that I wear dresses, I wrote I am wearing long skirts.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:25 pmThen why do you regularly wear a dress? And you say it isn't crossdressing? There is only one alternative I can think of and hey, its the 21st century. Nothing wrong with that.
Think of this kind of clothing-item:
Minus the abs, plus some blubber. And what alternative are you actually thinking about?
I'm not. Not yet anyways.

Cool. Still, I don't mind what someone wears. Hell, I think gender roles are stupid in that women now have more freedom in wearing pants, it's more socially accepted than it used to be, but put a male in a dress or skirt, and HOLY SHIT, there's still stigma! My God, it's stupid. Reminds me of Chuck's "Profit and Lace" review.

I have the fortune of living near Leipzig, which is pretty much the center of gothic culture in Germany. Anything goes isn't exactly out of the ordinary hereabout nowadays and unless we are talking about tourists, nobody really bats an eyelash about even some really outlandish things. It used to be different, of course, but things change given time. Nazis and intolerance are still a problem even here though and the more rural it gets, the worse.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:31 pm Cool. Still, I don't mind what someone wears. Obviously it should be clear by now, that I percieve myself as part of the gothic culture, though I am not much involved anymore nowadays, simply due to a lack of time and kinda having lost touch with my social group, thanks to real-life leading us anywhere but closer to each other. I'm meandering somewhere between the medieval- and electro-subcultures, but I rarely really "dress up" unlike others.
