On the moving kids around schools sometimes that isn't an option (ex my Town only had one Reg Highschool and one alternative hs, one jr high and there was no shuttle bus between the elementary schools).

It is of a piece with the entire Democratic Party's attitude, such as Terry MvAuliffe saying that parents have no place in deciding what their children are taught. The Democrats go on lot about how much they love Democracy, but they hate it when the demos will not submit to what their technocrats want.

Well we all think this way, at the end of the day.

As for this school thing, idk isn't that why there's the "homeschooling" option, or options to move thd kid around different schools? Thereby eliminating the need for parents to influence what a particulaf school teaches? (And even then it shouldn't just teach whatever the parents wang them to, should it? Although I'm generally skeptical about the whole school obligation thing to begin with, so I don't have any fixed opinion on this for now.)


Those (few, apparently?) parents who did voice violent threats (unless responding to violent actions by the staff, of course) aren't being wronged with these accusatioms; the others sure are though.

Maybe we do, but that does not excuse the hypocrisy orshould give Democrats credit for defending "deomcracy".

At least one of those incidents of violence and potential domestic terrorism was from a man getting into an altercation with a woman who did not believe his daughter had been sexually assaulted in a school restroom by an allegedly transgender biological male last May. The school board said they were aware of no such attacks when defending their new transgender policy. This same person was transferred to another school where they attacked another girl under similiar circumstances. That person was found guilty of the first assault this week.

I don't think democracy is a great term to try to wedge the broad left/right spectrum.

I don't think a one-dimensional spectrum is the best way to describe political opinions.
