Those Cold War relics know what professionalism looks like at least.
Yeah, it's a set of arbitrary standards meant to make sure that meaningful change is harder while also making things more difficult for minorities.

I think he is mistaking professionalism for the fact that in the cold war, every single person alive didn't carry a camera so it was harder to find people doing stupid things.

Rumour is that it was the Russians who hacked her cloud and released this footage. Why? Because she has angered Putin by applying for NATO membership. In other words, she has allowed a foreign enemy power to ridicule her office.

I would have serious doubts about voting for her after this.

Putin ridicules EVERYONE'S office, or everyone who isn't an ally anyway. If it wasn't this it would have been something else. Saying she "allowed" Putin to ridicule her office isn't fair at all. Finland isn't responsible for Putin being a dick.

Whether a politician does something mildly embarrassing should almost never be a factor in voting for them, especially if the only person who makes a big deal out of it is a mortal enemy of the nation. If anything, if it was shown that the Russians were the ones who exposed her, she might be able to count on MORE public support rather than less, since the Finnish would unite against Putin.

Russian state-hackers are kind of a myth. There're a number of russian hacker groups, a lot of which are "patrioticly motivated" (read: nationalist fucktards) and generally don't turn their skills against Russia itself, only wreaking havoc outside Russia and, consequentially, against percieved external enemies. The russian state naturally doesn't do anything about them, of course, but that's where the state's involvement ends.

As for not voting for that finnish politician again. Seriously? She's having some fun at a wild party with friends of hers in her spare-time. She didn't dislocate governmental funds, didn't break or bend any rules, didn't host a child-sex-trafficking ring either, unlike certain politicians beyond the great pond or even beyond the small pond on that little wierd isolationist island near Europe (and don't dare pretend that your "cold war elder statesmen" are free of blemishes, you know exactly what I mean... (using a proxy to circumvent the paywall of the Independent.co.uk newspage, so don't worry about clicking that outlandish link)). So what exactly is your point of discontent, Clearspira? I thought you are much more intelligent than that.

"Woman dances at party" is the lamest most pathetic attempt to manufacture a scandal since "man puts mustard on burger". The only thing she did wrong was dignify it with a response.

It is. AOC had something similar happen to her years ago.
I got nothing to say here.
