In a good or bad way? I was hoping Lower Decks had got over it's WTF for the wrong reasons issues.

It's a surprisingly controversial episode because a lot of people were apparently okay with the premise being played straight.

Mostly because the premise itself was insane.

Erm... Warp 0.2? Does nobody realize, that Warp 1 is light-speed, more or less? So PeanutBitchWhatever is trying to escape a solar system at 20% light-speed? So to travel the distance from Sol to Pluto, would take nearly a day. Doesn't sound so bad? Well, from Sol to Proxima Centauri would take just over 21 years. Have fun with not-Wilson, I suppose.

She does mention that she's going to live a very very long time, and even 0.2 warp is much faster than randomly floating about.
