I've not bothered with it. Didn't see the appeal of an MMO version even before all the bad reviews came out.
It is almost like story roleplaying only works with an individual or with a group of friends.

Here are some things that happened to a friend of mine, just this DAY, playing Fallout 76
- tried to place my C.A.M.P. several times in succession, went off to go do a quest, suddenly my C.A.M.P. dropped several times and it drained half my caps

- tried to replace C.A.M.P. in a place that's not in the middle of bullfuck nowhere, the device dropped above my head and was stuck there until i replaced it (into a mountain wall)

- a scorched aggroed on me and teleported rapidly between two point before exploding

- fought three super mutants, one of them was stuck in a t-pose, floating through the air after me. Once I shot him in the face, though, he started running in place and slowly lifted into the air out of sight, after which he dropped from the sky and died

- i approached a town and none of the building interiors or clipping bothered to render, i was able to walk through their walls and grab junk/placed items, which did render and fell to the ground as i passed through town
If it's so buggy that you struggle to get the game to function on a daily basis, then that is a horribly-made game, no matter how appealing the other elements.
