From what I read he had a short attention span. They found out early on that to get Trump's attention you had to make it loony flashy, short and to the point. Even title it with something eye catching. Even then, it would have to be very short, since he would lose interest in it quickly.

That was when he was actually working. The sad thing is that it seems like he took more out of Fox then his own advisors.
I got nothing to say here.

So, how likely is he to actually see consequences do you think? Or is he going to weasel out of this one too?

Nothing's going to happen. It'll all fade into nothing. At best a peasent will be sacrificed instead of the fat, lazy and largely useless king.

Nah, this one’s too big.

What’s gonna happen is, he’s gonna be given every possible opportunity to flee the country, with about a 50/50 on if he does it.

Assuming he’s too big a dipshit to do that, he dies in prison, probably near instantly as he gets giga-Epstein’d.

He will weasel himself out of it. Only because the amount of supporters who will never ever be convinced that Trump cannot do any wrong.

At best it will convince him or others to convince him to not run for president again.

All they need to do is freeze enough of his assest that he can't run in 2024 and that basically game over for him,

I think of it this way; they *already* gave him many chances to wriggle out of it. They very badly wanted this to just go away so as not to rile up his throngs of bootlicks.

That things have proceeded to this stage tells me that the “we can’t just ignore an issue we normally black bag people over” side of the argument won out, and having started that path at all, the safest way out is to keep moving forward and be as thorough and damning with the facts as possible, in hopes of whittling away his support.

(I don’t worry too much about what happens if this effort fails to dissuade his bootlicks, because the thing with bootlicks is they’re cowards, and they have seen what happens when they decide to actually follow through on his orders and try to fight the government, he throws them under the bus.)

There's also less worry about making him desperate when he's already panicking about DeSantis stealing his followers.
