Nixon ended the Vietnam war, Nixon increased veterans benefits, Nixon ended the draft.

The most disgraced American president prior to Trump cared more about the troops than Trump.

Edit: It's also worth noting that Nixon fought in WW2 and didn't flee the draft thanks to a rich daddy like Trump and Musk did.

Fair point, the presidents I mentioned were the ones I am most familiar with since I was old enough to remember them (I was too young when Regan and Bush senior were in office). Hence why I mentioned them and not others like Nixon.

Trump is talking about putting a 104% combined tarrif on China if China doesn't back down. Pretty sure that won't work on China.

Russia is not happy with the tariffs btw which is kind of funny given how much Trump has gone out of his way to please them recently. The price of oil and gas has plummeted which has knocked something like 30% off Russia's economy forecasts.

Ironically enough, Russia is one of a very few select countries, that had no tariffs placed on them. What a shitshow.
