Re: Trump camps and baby jails
Sorry, Fuzzy, Raven is right. Really paints the average German citizen in a new light, doesn't it? They weren't cackling evil collectively guilty sociopaths so satanically evil they had everything they deserved coming to them as our media has portrayed it over the last several decades. Many could see how awful it was, and were powerless. So chose to do nothing. Apathy is horrible, because it's how most people choose to act. And this is me, personally, saying this. I'm only looking out for those I love. The rest of the world... can burn, as far as I care.

If you can't reunite the children you separated from their families, you should not have the legal authority to separate them in the first place.
Enough weasel-words and half-hearted excuses about "What if those kids were taken by Coyotes or human traffickers?" That's a fig-leaf and you know it.
It's not a bug, it's a feature. The reason for separating children from their parents is to terrorize immigrants and scare people away and punish them.

Because Trump's white-minority base think of Mexicans (ignoring that other immigrants come here illegally too, and it's not just sneaking across the border, some overstay on their visas) as killers and rapists hauling burros and drugs and sombreros with a mariachi band. They're that racist. And that's who he's appealing to.

So Obama was trying to terrorize immigrants, scare people away, and punish them?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:12 am If you can't reunite the children you separated from their families, you should not have the legal authority to separate them in the first place.

ICE started under Bush, not Obama.

Because I think raping or attempting to rape women is logical from a sexist pig? Bah. And that is literally an actual fact. ICE started under Bush, NOT OBAMA. If you won't debate that, and if you don't like that, then you're the one who's got your facts wrong, not me.

Probably, yeah. I like him better than President Neelix, but he did some horrible things.Darth Wedgius wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 7:09 pmSo Obama was trying to terrorize immigrants, scare people away, and punish them?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:12 am If you can't reunite the children you separated from their families, you should not have the legal authority to separate them in the first place.

Re: Trump camps and baby jails
The progressive wing, ie those orchestrated by Sanders and his ilk, like to pretend he was a Republican in Democrat's clothing. Like remember the big stink they made over the TPP? I saw some idiots claiming it would sell us into literal slavery. That's the moment I began to doubt them, and when it came to the 2016 election, it just confirmed the progressive wing of the Democratic Party are full of morons.
But again, Fuzzy, I repeat... ICE started under Bush, not Obama, and a successor President inherits a lot of the bureaucratic problems of the former President. Obama spent way too much time having to deal with Bush's mess and being obstructed by Congress to get anything done, but I was proud that he was the first President I ever voted for. Not that it mattered in the end, as his legacy is being torn apart piece by piece by idiots who saw him as bad as the worst of the GOP because he didn't subscribe to an arrogant "my way or the highway" attitude that makes those who think it like the very enemy they claim to hate.
