Agreed.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 6:17 am When I vote for Biden, I'm not just voting for him but also getting rid of Trump, which is the paramount thing for me. You can bring up Biden's criticisms and blunders as much as you like, but it's never going to make me think I'm better off voting for Trump.

I never said to never vote for him. I just feel the hypocrisy is reaching an all-time high. Even if not for my mother, I'd withhold my vote this year.

Is there hypocrisy at display by the Democrats? Yes, because it is politics after all. But pretending that voting for Biden is the same as voting for Trump is ignorant and irresponsible. If I decided to not vote just because Biden wasn't my guy and that lead to Trump winning a second term, FUCK THAT. Biden could have a brain aneurysm the day after his inauguration for all I care, at least the people he surrounds himself with would be a major step up from the likes of Mike Pence. I understand wanting to vote with your heart. I wish I could vote FOR someone in office as opposed to voting AGAINST, but with the way Trump has handled himself, especially in the last week, I cannot imagine Biden or any VP of choice fucking up as badly as Mr. 45.

I can't recall where I said it was the same thing, so if I did, I apologize for that perception. Because it isn't.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 8:01 am Is there hypocrisy at display by the Democrats? Yes, because it is politics after all. I do, however, maintain Mr. 45 is bad. But that it's not as bad as the hard-line elements on the left like to claim. Past how the game is played, after all. Why else are they going into climate alarmism? I've met zoomers through school programs where I work who are convinced we have ten years to live. The world stops in 2030. That's irresponsible. It doesn't help that from their own admission by people on the left, they wanna get people scared, because they are this scared. You don't turn people to your point of view with fear, but calm discussion. That's probably why it's so hard for people to take the hard-line leftists seriously, kinda like the centrists don't take the KKK or any white supremacists that seriously.

And you're just being intolerant. Those hard-line elements like to claim he's Hitler 2.0, without hyperbole. But that's provably false since Hitler had millions of times the bodies Mr. 45 does. But if that's true, however... then the issue thus becomes this. If you think he's the American Hitler, without hyperbole... why don't you turn to the idea of doing your duty in trying to assassinate him? Or overthrow him? I would not support that. But if you're going to claim he's Hitler, then the question arises that you assume we're going where the Weimar Republic ended up, right? Right? So do your duty, and suck it up for the team. Many hard leftists have this talking point. None seem willing to back it up and make a hard stand for the team. As I've proven, it's ironic because it seems like for all the left's talk of tolerance and saving the world, they don't care about a quarter to half of the world anyway.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:54 pmThen it's even worse, you're an enabler.Captain Crimson wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 8:58 pm I do, however, maintain Mr. 45 is bad. I am not. I believe in climate change, and that it's being done by humans. But I also refuse to accept the world literally, physically stops in ten years. WE ALL DIE. By 2030. That's hyperbole, and you know it.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:58 pm Looks like we have a climate conspiracy theorist on the forum.

So you heard this from some random people at your work place. I'm just not sure how that is supposed to be important with regard to Biden and the Democrats, especially considering they've never said that the world will end in that time frame.Captain Crimson wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 10:50 pmI am not. If somebody DID plan to assassinate the president, it would be rather foolish for them to discuss it openly on a low-security forum where any halfway-decent hacker could trace their IP address, would it not? Just to score debate points?
Your language reveals the falseness of the centrist's equivalence. One side has neo nazis and organized hate groups that bomb black churches and murder people for being black, the other side...has a few fringe people who exaggerate how bad climate change is and how fast it is happening.
