If by "destroy" you mean, no longer prop-up and sit back while it collapses under it's own weight, then sure. We don't have to destroy the EU. The EU it perfectly capable of doing that all by itself.

Maybe, but not because of this. Hungary still has Poland on their side, so they won't suffer any real consequences from this.

But of course, that doesn't mean the issue goes away.

Oh, fantastic! Worffan and I were talking about American centrism last night and I was honestly struggling to think of what a American centrist would look like these days.

Though honestly I think your example upholds my point that the American center is shrinking rapidly. Your political views don't appear to be particularly mainstream.
