The Fall of Night is definitely one of those shows that lives up to the JMS standard measure of WHAM! at the end of the season. Save for the disappointing end to the Keffer files.

Have you ever seen The Room? There's a callback that you're supposed to shout when Michelle or Mike show up, because technically they're never properly introduced. That's what it's like whenever Warren Keffer is on the screen during this season of B5. Poor guy was written in by the network, had to suffer through some terrible B stories, only to eat laser breath in the end.

But even as the show is going into dark territory of unchecked aggression running free in the galaxy, plus repression at home, it still has some great moments of levity, like G'Kar reduced to hiding behind trees, and of course, the Beer Joke moment.
