Good news is he's actually being sentenced for Manslaughter. I'd go for first degree murder given that the driver had his hands raised and the cop fired 18 rounds, but I'll take what crumbs of justice we can get.

This is becoming a sad cliche. Sadistic cops see it, and know they can use it like calling the race card or gender card sometimes. Doesn't help many of those prone to do this probably lean that way, politically.
