Re: Snow in the Sahara
It regularly gets below 0°C in the Sahara at night in any season, so rain and even snow and especially frost are not as rare as you might expect, thanks to the condensation point being crossed pretty much every single night. Also the place refered to in the article is located into the Atlas Mountains at a height of almost 1.1km over sea level. The Atlas Mountains reach heights of up to 4.1km and are often covered in snow.

Re: Snow in the Sahara
It's often cold in the Sahara, the lack of humidity means it can be over a hundred in the day and literally freezing at night.

They turn into deserts too, obviously.

Re: Snow in the Sahara
A lot of people find it hard to get over the fact that deserts aren't always hot.

Turn into forests, forests turn into semitropics, semitropics turn into tropics, tropics stay the sameProfessorDetective wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:37 pmYes, but if the desserts are turning into grasslands, what happens to the current grasslands?Antiboyscout wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 3:02 pm OH NO, the world's largest desert might turn green?
