The Last of TNG SEASON 1 which is the worse

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

The Last of TNG SEASON 1 which is the worse

Post by chaos42 »

I know chuck complains alot about there always being more of this season but there isn't much more left but here is the question which of the remaining 7 will he do last im guessing either the big goodbye or we'll always have paris but these are the remaining titles which one do you think he will do last to close out season 1 as he will choose probably the worse one to finish on

The Big Goodbye
11001001
Too Short a season
Home Soil
Coming of Age
symbiosis
We'll always have Paris

Well I liked Too Short a Season, both as an episode in and of itself but also as a sort of spiritual sequel to A Private Little War. The Insane Admiral of the Week pulled the same sort of thing with the planet of the week that Kirk did with Planet Neural, and it did not end well. By using a new admiral and new planet, but same basic thing, it lets them explore the potential consequences without treading on the legacy and goodwill of the previous series. It is a good episode, albeit with horrible age makeup. I'm guessing Chuck will hate it though, just based on my track record of managing to like the ones he hates.

The worst of the lot still left is Coming of Age, for me anyway, because it is a Wesley storyline and also a very dull storyline too. Albeit a dull storyline which pays off with the neckgill creatures story later.

my choice is more for the he wants to make a pun about saying goodbye to ever having to do any more season 1 reviews

symbiosis is also a horrible episode as its another wrong directive episode as i like to call them were they talk about the prime directive over actually helping people, i really hate that one
and 11001001 has some staggering stupidity on display

I kinda think since hes in chaos mode he should consider doing this as a way to make us laugh as i enjoy all the season 1 reviews hes done as they are funny -the only one i can't stand is justice because that one just makes me want to hit things for no reason, i don't know why.

And once hes done all the episodes he can crown the WORST SEASON 1 EPISODE

i think it would be funny

There's no reason to crown a worst season 1 episode, he's already crowned Code of Honor worst for all of TNG.

sorry when i think of code of honor i just have a moment where i think i might have suffered a stroke from the shear stupid in that episode. Also other than code of honor what episode of season 1 is the worst as these are 1 award per episode as it super seeds it

I would love if he decided to finish all of season one at once. I can even have him take some time off TNG for a while if he has to.

I like the idea of it, but the problem is that the episode is barely about that. It's largely the story about the Admiral having taken this de-aging drug, and most of the focus and mystery during the episode is centered on that.

The general exploration of the dilemma is Picard saying, "Well, that was wrong and you're wrong!" which doesn't really do justice. There's no depth to it because the writers aren't going to provide a very favorable take on the man who gave people weapons, regardless of the circumstances. His only path to redemption was to die. He doesn't make any argument that he was right.

You mean like a singularity? Trying to wrap my head around what that would entail as far as a sf debris video(?)
..What mirror universe?

also i think i figured it out hes saving we'll always have paris for last or next to last because he keeps making jokes about theres always more and time itself is changing so i think the episode were time itself is broken is whats going to be near the end so he can explain things.
