Darth Vader began as a Jedi Knight and then he went to the Dark Side.
Emperor Palpatine, the same, Count Dooku, Emo Ren etc etc etc.
If Dark Side were a thing, then there would be Sith who started as Sith, Darths who started as Darths.
There might be some in EU, but I guess even in EU most Darths are Jedis who went wrong. It is so easy for a Jedi to go wrong. If you love that is Dark Side, if you dance, that is Dark Side, if you laugh, that is Dark Side.
Jedi aint worth having, it is so easy for them to become Darths and without Jedi, there would be no Darths.
Every Darth started as a Jedi Knight
Every Darth started as a Jedi Knight
Self sealing stem bolts don't just seal themselves, you know.
Re: Every Darth started as a Jedi Knight
Palpatine did not start as a Jedi. Darth Maul did not start as a Jedi. As far as we know Darth Bane did not start as a Jedi and most probably neither were anyone between him and Palpatine.

If we're counting Legends, then no. Darth Bane was never a Jedi.
Re: Every Darth started as a Jedi Knight
Palpatine was never a Jedi and neither was Maul, also, being a Jedi does not mean you're not allowed to have emotion. The Jedi encourage positive feelings, compassion is not discourage, love is not discourage, while the Sith encourage negative emotions, selfishness, hatred and fear are the way of the dark side, every one who has ever tapped into the dark side often tap into those emotions.
There are, of course, exceptions, Jedi's can be complete zealots and Sith can be reasonable but not all all Sith Start out as Jedi. Just going by canon, again Palpatine and Maul, not ever Sith started out as a Jedi so your argument holds no weight to it. Sorry.

That forgets the origins of the Darths in the Sith species.Jedi aint worth having, it is so easy for them to become Darths and without Jedi, there would be no Darths.
Course, they really got going when Dark Jedi took over, but nominally they were still leaning towards the Dark Side from the get go. IMO, the thing the Fallen Jedi do is give more direction and structure to a tradition of natural bad eggs who'd have caused trouble somehow.

Also remember Rey was never a jedi and she could have become a sith if she wanted to.

Of course she could become anything she ever wanted to. Do you think there's anything she can't do? Any human weakness she is limited by, bound to, ensnared from, and confined within? Not a chance.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 3:11 am Also remember Rey was never a jedi and she could have become a sith if she wanted to.

Maybe not, but it's a good idea not to put these characters up on a pedestal.Captain Crimson wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 4:37 amOf course she could become anything she ever wanted to. Just counting the main movies Palpatine and Maul were never Jedi, and I would argue Palpatine was the most important Sith.
