Oh wow.
I've got to say this is an episode that absolutely aged horribly for multiple reasons.
The episode is clearly about the bunk regarding repressed memories, the Satanic Panic, UFO abductions, and other things that hypnosis can royally fuck you up. However, it draws a much-much clearer line about sexual assault and no one believes Seven about it. The fact they chose to advertise it as Seven getting sexually assault (when it's about stealing nano probes) just makes the whole thing even sleazier.
Given so much focus is on the Doctor and the victim being worried about his reputation, it also feels like this should have been a Seven episode.

The Delta Flyers on this one is interesting I thought as they got the woman who wrote this one on to defend some of those choices, and yes this was heavily based on scandals at the time where people were effectively given false memories of sexual assault in their childhoods which really hits differently today. In some ways Seven is very much a child character with her development stopping as a young kid thanks to the borg but she's also being played by a grown assed adult who the show has put in a sexy bodysuit. So yeah it's awkward to say the least.
