Celebrating Pride Month: How Would a Polyamory Romance Between Dick, Barbra and Kory Work?

Of all the Polyamory relationships that I think of this, alongside both Link/Midna/Zelda and Sashannarcy, is my personal favorite as I love all the characters involved, I greatly enjoy Dick's relationships with both Babs and Kory, I think Babs and Kory would work great together AND I feel it would add a great deal with of character development to all three characters.

The biggest issue with this relationship becoming a reality is simply down to the fact that, unlike MJ and Felicia over in Marvel is that Babs has never been hinted at to be bi or pan and hasn't interacted all that much with Kory. I think the two have only met once and it was admittedly a little awkward (Kory was wearing Dick's shirt but Kory was honestly just being her usual nice self when she spoke to Babs) but as I said in my other post it could work if done right.

Much like Peter, MJ and Felicia this would be a case of getting Kory and Babs to work together on a few missions together to get to the two a chance to really get to know each other and much like MJ and Felicia this would result in both coming to realize that they may have feelings for each other AND Dick. Now the lion share of development here would mostly go to Babs as Dick has never truly stopped loving each women and Kory is from a planet where Polyamory relationships are not only excepted but common. But for Barbra this would be different for her. I could see her being a bit awkward around Kory as she still has feelings for Dick but over the course of several issues would see why he loves her, realize he still has feelings for her (Babs) start to unknowingly fall for Kory and after a while go "Oh no, I'm in love with both these idiot".

Kory I could see being the one that is the one to know first that she's fallen for both and is the one to convince the other two that WTH, I'm an alien, you two dress up like flying pests that everyone think are actually cool. Who cares if we're all together.

Honestly this could be a great series in and of itself as I could see the three working well together as a crime fighting unit. Dick as the leader, Babs as Woman behind the chair and Kory as the Heavy Hitter.

If Harley and Ivy can be teased for literally Decades and be made canon why can't these three?

It would be way more normal for kory, and somewhat normal for Dick.

The show would be interesting with an ensemble with babs and kory being center piece while Grayson could act individually with each of them and seldom having to dig deeper to find common grounding for the relationship as a whole. Grayson could get consistent showcasing as he did as nightwing/robin next to bats.

Barbara and Kory hook up with Dick whenever they're in town together and maintain strong emotional relationships.
