In my last post on this subject I mentioned that Cindy's most popular pairing was with Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat which was done mainly to show how unpopular Cindy's relationship with both her male love interests were. However what I didn't mention is that there's no way this is going to happen in either a Silk Spin-Off game or Spider-Man 3 mainly because Cindy in the Insomniac continuity is at least 15 years old and Felicia is at least in her mid 30s. Sorry that's to big of an age gap and I'm pretty sure that Insomniac has said that Cindy is younger then Miles who is at most 18 years old so no not happening.
However, there is another character who could become Cindy's love interest and while not as popular as Felicia does have a sizable fanbase that being Supervillain Saya Ishii. Daughter of Supervillain Silvio Manfredi, Saya is one of Cindy's rogues but a rather lesser known one from what I understand however many fans like her character both for her personality and chemistry with Cindy.
And it should be noted that Saya is a lesbian and I think it was mentioned that she has feelings, or at least an attraction, to Cindy so what if Insomniac decided to lean into this? Have it where Saya is working against Cindy at first but something happens that results in the two teaming up which leads to them developing feelings for one another. It doesn't end with them starting up a romantic relationship but it does lay the seeds for said relationship.
Just a thought.
