I found this article very enlightening.

So, just so we are clear here: we are talking about transmen who want to be pregnant. That one thing that actual biological men cannot do. That one thing that more than anything else marks you out as a biological woman.

Y'know... if you didn't link the article I would swear that this is a troll. I'm glad that you've found enlightenment here because i'm confused as hell.

[...]

So for the past six months, Guido and Joey have been trying to conceive another child. It has been a beautiful and queer process — but not without struggle.

It’s taking longer than it took with T. Seeing one negative pregnancy test after the other has made Guido feel constantly like he’s doing something wrong. While trying to conceive, Guido has gone without testosterone, which many transmasculine people take for hormone replacement therapy. Without it, he struggles to regulate his emotions as his hormones fluctuate. His period has come back, which causes him significant gender dysphoria.

[...]
This passage was the one that left me the most baffled, to be honest. Guido is a biological female, clearly. Taking testosterone will have an adverse affect on your female fertility. How is this surprising to him? And why is this causing gender dysphoria? What the flying fuck was he expecting to happen? Make up your mind before you throw yourself into this maelstrom of contradictions... The world around you is not at fault if you fuck up like that...

And then this nugget:
[...]

But trying for another pregnancy has also led Guido to discover new facets of their identity. As an asexual person, it has brought them closer to their partner as they both explore what intimacy looks like while trying to conceive.

[...]
Like... What is this even? Having sex brought him closer to his partner? Yeahnoshit. That's how this works. And he's not sexually interested in his partner he wants another child with, despite "exploring their intimacy"? What now? Are we certain this isn't an AI-scripted text? Because this certainly feels like something that was constructed by something that has no idea what words actually mean...

Also, what's the actual takeaway from this article? "Transman is having troubles with pregnacy and might get confronted with the wrong pronoun in rural bumfucknowherestan?" I'm kinda hazy on what I am supposed to learn from that, other than Advocate.com needing a proofreader, badly.

Its simple. A former biological female who identifies as a man, transman wants to use his biological female equipment that he still as a former biological female equipment to get pregnant. It's that simple. He isn't biologically male. Saying biologically males cannot get pregnant is irrelevant.
I got nothing to say here.

On a more general level, if you're simply someone who wants a kid, this is an option that's available. And there's no obligation to commit fully with transexual medical operations in order to fulfill an associative standard with the gender at large. The critical aspect of transgenderism is identity, with varying degrees of social and physical adaptation.
..What mirror universe?

MEN CANNOT GET PREGNANT!!

Don't try and tell me that you want to be a man, or that you feel like a man, or that you are in the wrong body, or that you actually are a man, and then proceed to willingly do something that only women can do. That is bullshit. Like I said before, if there wasn't an article I would swear that you are trying to troll bait me right now.

I refer you to my previous comment. We have reached peak ''The Emperors New Clothes.'' This only works if everyone agrees that it does.

''I'm a man. I feel that with every fibre of my being that I was born into the wrong body.''

''OK. Cool. I have no problem with that.''

''Also, ignore my huge pregnant belly.''

''Wait? What?''

''What is so confusing about that?''

''Because it goes against literally everything that you opened this conversation with.''

'' ''

It isn't everyone else's fault that your ridiculous simplified and frankly malicious parody of a complex topic isn't 100% accurate in all cases.

Except they can. Are you going to look at a guy with a flat chest and a beard you could lose a chicken in and say "That's a woman! You'll always be a woman no matter what!"?
