Dragon Age: Veilguard Release Date Trailer

Post by hammerofglass »

I'm actually getting kinda hyped now, this is the first promotional anything I've seen for this that actually made it look like something I'd want to play. I still don't care for the art style but at least least it isn't that nonsense the first trailer inexplicably decided to make it look like.

After leaving me hanging with Solas and Lavellon reconnecting but being kept apart by circumstance at the end of Trespasser they better be together in this game.

Solas' full Dread Wolf form in the trailer is so cool.
...for space is wide, and good friends are too few.

Personally the demo is what won me over as it does look like a lot of fun to play. But this trailer is an improvement over the one we got 2 months ago (though personally I don't think it's as bad as many make it out to be).

I will say that in regards to romance I'm torn between Neve and Lace most right now, Neve is so beautiful and seems really sassy (and I have thing for sassy ladies) but Lace is just adorable and being able to romance her after ten years of flirting with her is just so temping.

Morrigan being in the game was a surprise as is her wearing what appears to be her mother's crown. I hope that this isn't Flemeth having taken over Morrigan cause that would be just annoying. Personally I mixed on her outfit, not sure why though. I do wonder if she'll become a companion or if she is just a guest party member like she was in DAI.

I do hope that we get to see Fem-Rook in future trailers and that it's not just Male-Rook for most of the marketing.

Finally I do hope that the means this game has to customize the choices from the past games is basically the Tapestry from Dragon Age Keep because that was a fantastic way to incorporate all our choices from the first two games into DAI.
