Re: 5ive Days to Midnight
I must say I found this all very hard to follow. How did the case get sent back in time? Is it in itself the time machine? Then where did it come from? If so, what was it used for originally? Think about it, no one is going to build a time travelling case to save this rather unimportant random guy....

Re: DS9 - The House of Quark
The ending makes even more sense when you remember the part where all these noble leaders are dumbfounded by Quark's financial investigations. D'Ghor has basically found a way to kill off rival houses that for them, they have zero defense or methods to deal with. This allows them to dispose of what ...

Re: TNG - Heart of Glory
It should not have taken until Nemesis for the warp core to gain a forcefield. This episode should have been the exact moment where Starfleet went ''yeah, our warp core design is crap. Lets redesign.'' And I note that in TOS the warp core is behind a protective grate - they went away from this desi...

Re: TOS: The Alternative Factor
So... Why can't they just kill Crazy Lazarus? I know just killing someone isn't really a go to in Starfleet, but Sane Lazarus didn't seem like he was causing any problems, and if crazy Lazarus is dead, he can't do his boneheaded plan. I mean, condemning both to Limbo forever seems far worse anyway.

Re: Enterprise: Cold Station 12
For an organization that doesn't care much for genetic engineering, Starfleet sure seems to have a lot of top-secret research labs on the topic... Cold Stations 1 through 11 aren't just Schwan's warehouses, right? Starfleet has a strange habit of keeping REALLY dangerous shit around for what seems ...

Re: STD: Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad
But seriously its like you can FEEL this sense of tryhard or disdain. At least with Orville its out of love or self satisfaction, if not self importance/condemnation. Its because its written by committee, and produced by focus group. Social Justice is big, so we need alot of PoC and Women, and so i...

As soon as Anders pulled that shit on you, I see no reason not to throw a knife between his eyes or shove a spear down his throat, because even if your 100% mage supporting, you know he's going to fuck everything up for everybody.

Re: Star Trek TNG: Firstborn
My headcanon is Alexander got stuck in a time vortex until he was sixteen. He spent that time in the future where the Dominion almost won. Worf got a message about it. Grunted, said, "Must be Friday." Then went back to work. Worf really needed to keep an eye on that kid. He had unbelievably growth ...
