The police seem to think he didn't do this one. Or is the idea behind the thread title that the house is cursed?

Huh, well, say what you will about how evil Dick Cheney is, far as I know, he only ever shot the one guy in the face.

The title is 100% factually accurate but also supports the cursed house theory.
