I'm very anti-draft, but IF you're going to do it, it's a more grey and complex situation than you first think. On the one hand, I'd be thrilled for women to join the battlefield as equals alongside men. On the other hand, there's also the potential for sexual assault not just if they get captured, but from their own fucking comrades, and... if they don't wanna be there in the first place, then yes, it's gonna make their lives even more hell. So many conflicting feelings, man...

I myself am against conscription on moral and practical grounds (volunteer militaries are objectively more effective), but if we're going to do it, better get both men and women.
