Speaking of official news, TrekMovies posted that Star Trek productions will be adding an AR Wall to create virtual sets like on The Mandalorian, this will be great for Strange New Worlds as it will be returning to the planet of the week formula, and being able to create different alien worlds that's both creative and quick, while saving on actual sets will be instrumental for the series.

''Exposed'' fraud. Care to elaborate or is this one of those times where we are all meant to just nod our heads and agree?
Doomcock claims to have a source that tells him what's happening at CBS, but it turns out he just goes on 4chan and grabs random made up stories, presenting them as his "insider information". I gotta hand it to him, he knows how fucking stupid his base is and does a great job exploiting them for page hits. Would make a Ferengi envious.

This is where you can now nod your head and agree.
And your source for this?

My head is remaining static, Odo.

But if you want to keep watching Doomcock for bogus rumors that "validate" your fragile little feelings, I can't stop you.

Excellent. I was sick of that rock quarry before it showed up a dozen times across Discovery and Picard.

My personal pet peeve is when they'd reuse that cave set during the TNG era, and while Discovery and Picard have done a great job at showing scale to their sets, I do think there are still limitations to them, and getting away from rock quarries and green screens is a good idea overall.

I also hope that they use the AR Wall for View-Screens and ship windows.

Hey now, that cave set was the hardest working actor in the franchise.

Oh yes. Planet Hell. People didn't seem to mind back then. And it was used (and reused) for whole episodes. Now people bitch because they see a blurry reused shuttle model for a second...

Indeed, or not minding the reused space shots, matte-paintings of planets, or the fact that most aliens in Star Trek look nearly if not outright like humans.

Speaking of which, they'll properly save money on sets with the AR Wall that could be put towards alien makeup, so we could be seeing some really alien designs in the future.
