Honestly I'm in favor of gender-neutral toilets purely out of practicality. I can't count the number of times when I was wandering around the university and only finding the Women's bathrooms.

There's strong arguments you could make for and against them - what you just listed, but that is easily countered by the simple idea to build more bathrooms. The city I live in needs more benches too, I'd be first to admit it. What concerns me is transtrenders using this in order to peek on the other side. Could just as easily happen in gender-neutral bathrooms, I admit, for sure.

Personally, I don't care either way, so long as more bathrooms AND benches are built, but you know - never enough budget for that. :(

It's kinda funny. If you talk to women they are the ones that complain about not finding enough women's bathrooms. And them arguing that guys are quick and don't require as many stalls.

Not to mention women are more welcome in men's bathrooms than the other way around.
I got nothing to say here.

Hey, would you like some butter and maple syrup with that strong clear stance you're putting forward?

So yeah, more transphobic legislation. There's been so many anti-trans state laws passing around here I forgot that was a big thing in the land of marmite and egg cups.

Um, what?

As for gender-neutral toilets: I am against them for practical reasons. There's always a queue in front of the women's toilets, there's rarely one in front of the men's toilets. I hate waiting in queues, especially if I just need to release some used water.

Do you have any evidence that so-called "transtrenders" exist or did you just want to put some lead ingots on the light side of the scale?

Transtrenders, those posing as trans or claiming to be trans as the hip new way to fit in, mostly from younger people. And it is insidious as it does a disservice to the actual people who struggle with their own gender identity.

Really, there have been studies on this.
