The best option is since writing can vary from doctor to doctor is base the merit on how the actor/actress attempts to portray the doctor it's not always the fault of the acting (ex Colin Baker).

I actually wouldn't mind that woman they got to play the doctor in the rhino episode.

I like Jodie she reminds me a lot of the fourth and second doctors so I'm a bit sad to see her go.

I haven't seen enough of the actress to have an informed opinion, but I thought this Doctor was far too much a combination of the zanier sides of Ten and Eleven, without their balancing edginess (the 'zany' was partially an act).

Each Doctor should be someone new, and this Doctor felt like a patchwork quilt of previous versions.

Honestly, she reminds me more of the classic era doctors then current era (mainly 2 and 4 with bits of 7)
