Re: Christmas Show 2021
Would it be fair to say then that everyone who has attempted to guess this film for the last month has basically been wasting our time because we were operating under the assumption that clue 1 was telling the truth?

Re: Christmas Show 2021
Someone check my math
1. Dec-13) It is a film.
2. Dec-14) Chuck reviewed many of the writer's other works.
3. Dec-15) None of the cast went on to anything of note.
4. Dec-16) It is referenced by an episode of the Simpsons.
5. Dec-17) It was released before the first video on sfdebris.com according to the archive.
6. Dec-18) It is an adaptation.
7. Dec-19) It is not the worst film of a franchise.
8. Dec-20) It is part of the National Film Registry.
9. Dec-21) You could say that its soundtrack outperformed the movie.
10. Dec-22) The film has one of the highest makeup budgets ever.
11. Dec-23) It is set largely on Earth.
12. Dec-24) There are two separate films for this Christmas. Clues on even numbered days apply to one, and on days which are multiples of three apply to the other. Prime numbered days apply to both.

Re: Christmas Show 2021
The only movie I can think of with the soundtrack thing is 2001 Space Odyssey, though I can't say that is is largely on Earth because I have not seen it and am only aware of the start of the movie taking place on Earth.
For that matter I was about to go steady with Starship Troopers for film B because of the popularity of song 2 by blur on the Soundtrack, but you can say the exact same thing about 2001 that you can with it as well.

Re: Christmas Show 2021
Planet of the Apes had the highest makeup budget for a long time, I'm reading..
I feel like nobody in Dawn of the Dead 2004 went on to do anything, and I remember the Down with the Sickness cover being somewhat popular, but I couldn't tell you that it was heavier than the movie itself.
And sorry for this, but I'm going to have to submit Power Rangers first movie for film b.
This pinball might go straight down the middle if I actually look into it, but I'm fairly sure Matthew Broderick, Hank Azaria, and Jean Reno all went on to do something of note later on.
