The Twitter Rebrand

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

A Randian superman would be superbly competent, especially in his chosen field of expertise. What is Elon Musk good at, again?

Which is why he's not a Randian superman. If anything, he's a Randian villain.

No, a Randian villain would be altruistic.

Almost like the worldview in her philosophy was uselessly simplistic and unrealistic.

No, a Randian villain would promote altruism in order to make exploiting people easier - maximum villainy if they don't consciously understand their own hypocrisy.

Musk wants to eliminate blocking, saying "it makes no sense." That will certainly end my usage of TwitterX and probably many others as well.

Musk, BTW, has many blocked many accounts.

No worries, that function is going to come back. For $5/month.

The block thing could be an issue with Apple as they require social media apps to have a block feature for users.

If it ends up behind a paywall it will be another cut to the platform. Death by a thousand cuts is a painful thing to see.
