I used to post in Navweaps Forum long ago and they have a section called Politics of War that has a much greater conservative poster count than liberal.

One of the more prolific posters who is also a hardcore conservative once remarked why liberals shouldn't be in favor of abortion because in his mind, the party that would be that would be more willing to have an abortion would be liberals. More specifically African Americans. Like if abortion was still illegal there would be millions more liberals in the US. That statement always stood out for me. Just that mindset just amazed me. Tbh, I have been waiting for Frustration to say something like that for while too.

I had a much longer post before I rethought it and just am going to, "Yeah, pretty much what tracks with a lot of my experience with certain types." There's a lot of people who just sincerely believe in preventing something evil but then you ask their supporters what they're doing for healthcare, childcare, and preventing unwanted conception in the first place (the obvious way to reduce abortion) and crickets chirp.

Plus I have to wonder how many conversative actually practice what they preach? How many of them go up saying how it evil in Church, and leave the building and happily not carry the child to terms due to it making them or their wives looks fat.
