Fan theory: the coven did the whole "raise the twins to think of themselves as effectively one person" in an attempt to brute force the creation of a Force Dyad between the two.

I'm glad people are pretty positive here, I'm seeing a lot of pointless Hate on Facebook and Twitter.

I have the worst possible review of this series:

"I just don't care."

I had issues with Ahsoka but I find the plot of the show incomprehensible, the characters unlikable, and the whole treatment of the Jedi to be terrible. Also, why is it that virtually every single Disney release but the sequels now have witches in them? It's like someone really-really-really loved the Courtship of Princess Leia.

Be more creative with your Force traditions.

Honestly the Jedi seem just like every other portrayal of the Order to me, but I've hated them since Phantom Menace introduced them so bias.

If it was because they really liked The Courtship of Princess Leia the witches would be riding Rancors, surely?

Half-season predictions:

It's Qimir the "sidekick" under the mask. I mean he's the same size and built and wearing the same clothes, it's either meant to be obvious or it's a red herring.

The guy under the mask Mae calls master is actually the apprentice and the real master gets revealed in the finale. Because the trick with Rule of Two is that absolutely nobody actually follows it and there's always secret apprentices to apprentices or "dark side assassin who totally isn't my apprentice I swear" etc; at one point in The Clone Wars there were five.

The real master is Sol. Nothing to back this up other than potential skick value.

Some of the best lightsaber fights I've seen in episode 5. Reminds me of the cinematics Blur made for The Old Republic MMO.

All the whining about the Sith being supposed unknown to the jedi and it turns out he's not even a real Sith.

It's honestly kind of fascinating watching the guys who have been aggressively hating on the show since it was announced (as opposed to normal viewers who just don't like it) over the last day. They haven't been given new talking points yet so they're just melting down into gibberish strings of buzzwords not even trying to make coherent criticisms.

When the writers and actors were told "this episode is about being seduced by the Dark Side" they really understood the assignment.

You know what the (so far unnamed) villain brings to mind? A Hexblade Warlock from D&D. A hugely dangerous melee fighter powered entirely by sheer overwhelming charisma.

Well the reveal of what actually happened went out of it's way to vindicate the order and put all the blame on Sol and the youngest one's individual issues.
