The cow's life-cycle isn't dependent on bursting out of your chest though.
Parasitic lifeforms are hardly uncommon in RL. Dude ate some bad eggs and got a tapeworm.

You eat tapeworm-eggs specifically and explicitly? I kinda doubt that.

I just prefer it being natural on another planet.

If they were delicious, people absolutely would.

Even presuming that for a moment: That tapeworm isn't going to violently erupt out of your chest with fatal traumatic results. Deadly results of a tapeworm infection do exist, but they're not the default result by a long shot.

Didn't people eat those as a way lose weight, heck they sold them in part, it didn't work at all.

People are stupid no matter their species is all I'm saying.

I just buy a space trucker transporting too ripe eggs more than the Aliens were the product of a deranged android with daddy issues trying to destroy space gods.

And now I'm thinking of this scene from Spaceballs.

Only now? I got the singing Xenomorph's melody in my mind, whenever I ready this thread.

Oh that scene lives rent free in my head and comes up every time I think of Alien because that, and the now gone The Great Movie Ride, was how I was exposed to the series. It's just saying that CharlesPhipps mentioning how the Space Jockey could have died made me zero in on it.
