The Trump campaign has been pretty clear they expect to lose at the ballot since August and telling his followers the election will be stolen so they'll go along with another coup attempt. All their focus has been on finding ways to deny certifications and otherwise drag chaos out until the Supreme Court they control crowns him Pharoah.

I said previously that I would avoid the news section in future but I've decided to break that to say that when I was a kid, I always had a ''oh come the fuck on'' reaction whenever Metropolis voted in Lex Luthor. It just did not seem realistic or plausible. Of COURSE no one would vote in a supervillain. You would have to be an idiot to do that.

And yet here we are. A convicted felon, an insurrectionist, a man who led the US to some of the worst Covid figures on Earth, a man who declared that immigrants are eating pets, a man who locked children up in cages, a man who stated that he can get away with sexually assaulting women; neck-and-neck with Harris. It's bizarre. As are a lot of the justifications I am seeing. Harris smiles awkwardly, Harris did not win a primary, Harris is too young (which is bizarre after what Biden was crucified on), Harris is... brown and female, I guess.

And the crazy thing about all of this? There are still undecided voters. How is that even possible? How can you look at these two people and not immediately know which one that you are going to pick? They are night and day.

I hate to pick out a point that isn't even yours and nitpick, but...

OK, so looking at the presidents since FDR, Harris would be the eighth oldest president, right in the middle of the pack. Looking at the last five (i.e. since Clinton) she'd be the third oldest, which doesn't sound impressive, but when you consider that the last two presidents are the oldest two in history... What kind of curve are we grading on here?! Was Dubya too young? He was six years younger than Harris! In all of history, she'd be the thirteen oldest president! What, is it not enough that a president would qualify for social security after two terms?! Like what the fuck! Is this the Soviet Union where our dynamic new guy is in his mid-fifties!?! Do we want to be ruled by fucking geriatrics?! Gah!!!
