Hypothetical Question: A Divine Being Has Come to You and Will Give You Five Super Powers Which Ones Would You Choose?

Just for fun, what would you choose? Keep in mind there are no refunds, you pick a power, you don't get to trade it in for another.

For myself, I would pick

Flight
Energy Manipulation (picture Ryoko from Tenchi where you can create Lightsabers out of thin air and shoot laser blasts)
Teleportation
Super Strength
Heal Factor

Being silly for a moment I would also love the idea that a side effect of this is getting your ideal body like what happened in Dreadnought. Again, that's just me being silly.

Five powers is too many imo. It is very easy to bend that into omnipotence with the right wording. It's why I always find the start of most shonen more interesting than the end of it. "Which of Naruto's 200 powers will he use to get out of this one?"

Besides, I'm actually kind of happy with my one pick: reincarnation with past memories only surfacing in my 20s. That way you get immortality but neither are you stuck as yourself nor do you lose yourself. I've been me for a few decades now and I'm bored with it.

Because here's the thing: even with shape-shifting, even if you move to a different country, what is the constant that you can never, ever change? You.

To be absorbed in another society and culture as a native, to have different desires and dreams, to know a different time, to see old things through new eyes, to have a new body and new people to know? That is far more fascinating to me that merely being able to fly or bend steel.

Although one addendum here: purely human and humanoid alien reincarnation. No animals. It'll be different if humans actually treated animals better.

So Mage the Ascension rules?

Talk about super powers, no talk about their limits.

1. Super Strength: How much? Like Spider Man level? Or Superman? Walk around the planet like it's made of tissue paper.

2. Flight: How fast can I go? Also needs to be paired either with invulnerablity as the faster you get the more resistence you get and the hotter you get. I mean you could safely fly around for like 200 MPH if you just wear a biker helmet to protect your eyes.

3. Invulnerablity: by how much? Enough to just withstand gunfire or are we talking nuke level?

4. Super Speed: How fast? I twitch a bit and the next thing I am a mile down the road? Will I get tired like normal? Like if I run for five minutes I would be just tired as someone who doesn't have super speed? Also would I view the world just going in slow motion at all times or would I be able to turn it off?

5. Energy Projection: Like DBZ. How powerful is this? Single hand blast? Blow up a car or a building or a mountain. Something more powerful? Planet destruction? Or could I do cool stuff with it.

OK, I won't game the system. I want omnipotence!

OK, fine:

Biokinesis: Shapeshifting is easier than exercising and shaving. Can also use this to heal this sick and shapeshift others.

Immortality: Covers a few edge cases around biokinesis.

Creation powers: Snap my fingers and BOOM! Mariachi Band! Snap again, gone.

Teleportation: Get around faster. Ideally extend to go around all of time and space, and go between multiverses and stuff.

I'm with Clearspira, I only need one in body manipulation. Can sort out anything wrong with my self, reset my body to it's prime when I want so no worries about getting old until I'm ready for it, and I can get insanely rich to live a life of luxury by doing entirely risk free cosmetic procedures with no needed recovery time. Could even do the occasional tour of the kid's cancer wards anytime I want to salve my conscious for living so indulgently.

If I do have to go to two then Nightcrawler style teleportation, cause a) it looks rather fun, and b) if some one decides to lock me up to exploit the body manipulation, then it's *bamf* time outta there.

Definitely should be limitations on this.

Though the concept of being God would be nice. There would be a Heaven and Hell. Getting into Heaven would be based on merit and the goodness of the person. No need to worship me in real world or afterlife. Just be a good person.

I would create a middle afterlife. Something where you could fix yourself to get to heaven.

Hell is for truly bad. But it won't be fire lava and all that. It will be psychological. I do like the idea that hell is of your own making and only you can can get out of it. Even then, you would be placed in different level of heaven.

That is my concept of what I would be to be God.
