Re: What did Elon Musk do this time.
I think a lot of people are in denial that Republican voters knew exactly what they were voting for. Coming up with these stories that they were confused or they were tricked so they don't have to come to terms with the idea that tens of millions of Americans wanted this and all that's to come.
Tragedy tomorrow; comedy tonight!
Re: What did Elon Musk do this time.
Exactly. They are getting exactly what they wanted. Most of them straight up feel that he came from God himself to fix the United States. And that was coming from his first term. Do you think that has changed? Noo!hammerofglass wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 1:16 am I think a lot of people are in denial that Republican voters knew exactly what they were voting for. You want to win? Then you have to convince those who did not vote back in November to vote plus more. Because right now, it looks like Trump's popularity is higher than it has ever been. You will have to assume the same amount of voters will vote in 2026. If not more. Don't buy into people getting tired of him or getting tricked.
I got nothing to say here.

But there is also one thing that we need to consider: These people thought that he would leave white people alone. They were voting to hurt others, not themselves. I believe that there are Trump voters who are regretting it. By the laws of averages some of those Federal workers must have voted Republican for example.McAvoy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 1:23 amExactly. They are getting exactly what they wanted. Unfortunately the racist motivations remain. There are white people who would vote against air if they found black people were getting it for free. So they are willing to suffer as long as black and brown people suffer more.

Cannot assume that. People thought Trump voters were getting tired of Trump during his campaigns in 2024. Yet he gained even more voters than before. So where did those voters go that said they would not vote Trump? Like I said, cannot assume. Just go in and vote.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 7:03 amBut there is also one thing that we need to consider: These people thought that he would leave white people alone. Take over both houses and hopefully gain enough to legit threaten Trump with a true impeachment and possible removal of he does one of his antics. This time with teeth.

He's 78 years old, under a lot of stress, has been in and out of court for a few years now, has been convicted of 34 felonies, than there was the 2024 election which was also pretty stressful and he's overweight, is still suffering from his years of drug use, has one of the most stress inducing jobs in the world, is now being made fun of by other politics around the world and is clearly not in the best shape physically.TGLS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 1:43 pmI mean, Harrison made the extremely foolish decision to give a long inauguration speech outside on a very cold day. Then he caught a bad cold and died. Trump decided against doing the inauguration outside because it was a cold day.Winter wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 5:40 am I hate that I'm even on this part of the forum and like even less that I'm writing this because I truly hate being terrible but William Harrison had one of the shortest runs as he died after 90 days. Maybe we'll get lucky and Trump's second term will be as long and Vance and Musk start going at each other?
You don't need to give a 2 hour speech in the freezing rain or live down public sewage to be in poor health sometimes you just have to take terrible care of yourself and blame it on woke culture instead of doing anything about it.

Would be nice if he just up and died of a heart attack.

You do realize, this would lead into a presidency of JD Vance? Frankly, at this point, nothing will change whether Trump's around or not. The cancer is rooted too deep.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 7:53 pm Would be nice if he just up and died of a heart attack.

That's the problem. Trump dying in office puts Vance in power and he isn't an improvement. He may end up being worse.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 8:10 pmYou do realize, this would lead into a presidency of JD Vance? Oh he may not be prolific as Trump is on social media. He may not be swayed by ego when someone does something against him.
