Waiting for the outbreak of the second US Civil War, caused by the Nintendo Switch 2 costing 583% of what it costs everywhere else on the world or something like that.

Just happy that I got the emulator handheld (made in China) when I did. Just got it last month. Admittedly I should have spent a bit more for the joystick version because I really can't play the N64 games.

But at least I can play the Sega, NES and SNES games. Which is fine. Just beat Mario 3 a few days ago. Tried Super Ghouls and Ghosts and it's as hard as I remember it.

Still trying to remember the one game I played where it was like mechs fighting each. Side scrolling game but the mechs can get damaged and you can exit the mech to find a new one before it gets destroyed. Just can't remember the game. It was on SNES.
I got nothing to say here.

Have you tried r/TipOfMyJoystick?

Becoming increasingly scared of the repair costs of my car or worse... Been driving along the Autobahn last Saturday evening as, suddenly, my car switches into emergency driving mode, without explanation or any sort of previous alarm. Since no repair shop has open anymore at that time, I slowly and carefully drive home, watching and listening for any hints of something going really bad, but beyond my car just flat out refusing to go beyond 2,000 RPM (emergency mode), nothing obvious comes up.
It's monday morning, I get into my car. Still emergency driving mode. Starting the engine, an irregular metallic rattle comes from the engine bay, but the engine starts fine otherwise. I crawl to a local repair shop about 5 minutes (by foot) from my home and leave my car there. Their schedule is full and they can only promise to check it out as soon as they can, without being able to name a time. It's fine with me, since I don't need my car for work or something, but purely my spare time and entertainment. So I go home and a neighbour makes me aware, that I got "an oil spill on my parking spot". I didn't notice it when moving my car off of it, but it's really obvious when I look from my apartements window. It's huge and vaguely follows the outlines of the engine under-cover, where it must've dripped down over the weekend. All in all, I'd say, I got no more oil in my engine. Could be anything from a broken tube to an exploded oil pump that tore everything around it into oblivion, with follow-up damage to the innards of the engine and turbo charger.

Am an unhappy camper. Repairs could cost anything from 100 to 10,000€. And the repair shop couldn't yet check it out 😭

My old previous car did that out of nowhere too. Refused to go any faster than 45 MPH when I hit the highway on one morning driving to work. Pulled off on a exit and restarted the engine. Same thing. Drove all the way back to my parents house to drop off at my parents favorite car mechanic.

Put my hazards and was probably driving people nuts driving on the highway doing 45 MPH in a 65 zone which is known to be even faster than that.

It wasn't until I got off my exit that I noticed my car engine temp needle being way too high. So I had a coolant issue. Mechanic confirmed this but he had a simple fix when he checked for leaks. Turns out my hoses were Micro-cracked so the coolant was weeping through the hoses. Simple fix to it, some sort of special coolant sealer he threw in when he topped off the coolant again.

No big deal but it could have been much worse. Didn't even know my car had that mode myself. But it was the first straw for me with the car before I replaced it with a new car.
I got nothing to say here.

Finally got news. The turbocharger disintegrated. 2,500€ repair costs and praying that no debris made it elsewhere into the system. Funtimes. An entire monthly wage gone. I just hope there's no secondary damage that only reveals itself after the repair. 🫣

Got to love cars. They cost a ton to own, cost so much to drive on a daily basis and cost so much to maintain.
I got nothing to say here.
