Thankfully, there are still people fighting back. A lot of fascism's power relies on you believing they are already invincible. They are not.

Plus even if he hypothetically does use the list for scientific reasons like he is claiming who is to say some guy down the line won't take the job and do what we are all worried about?

Plus you just know that even if they really did what they say they're going to do it'll be some "we threw out every piece of research that actually talked to the people this is supposedly about" trash like the Cass report.

This is the issue in a nutshell. Lets say that Trump isn't Hitler and this is all an overreaction.
A precedent has been set.

Yep. You could assume and hope that by doing this they have the best intentions, but hell was paved with best intentions too.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 8:57 amThis is the issue in a nutshell. Lets say that Trump isn't Hitler and this is all an overreaction.

They don't have the best intentions. This is obvious.
The good news is the Autism Registry is being stopped.

Well considering what RFK Jr has said about autism I don't see anything done in good faith being done. Even if this was a one shot deal that will never be done again, I don't expect a truly end all be all study that will end all arguments about Autism.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 3:04 am They don't have the best intentions. You know, stats are nice but did you know 86% of stats are made up? I would expect psuedoscience being applied here.
