So, yeah. I understand from past replies that the illinois Republican position is a token thing, something that you have no chance of winning, so the republicans don't bother to context the fringe.

What's worse is he hasn't even hidden this, he's open about his Nazi sympathies and yet people still voted for him. The problem is that the Media have increasingly sought to normalise people like Harris and this is the consequence.

Well, according to 538's atlas of redistricting, a generic Republican has a 14% chance of winning Illinois's 3rd. Hope Illinois doesn't roll a one.

If I were a Republican in that district, I'd be planning to vote Democrat this November. Or whenever that election is held. Freaking Nazis...
